April 4, 2006 - Mobile, AL – Today KONICA MINOLTA PRINTING SOLUTIONS U.S.A., INC. announced that Leilani Münter, #57 race car driver and newest member of Ken Smith’s SS Racing team, will be hitting the track with an expanded race schedule. Münter will run a combination of ASA Late Model Series, USRA Super Late Model Series, and NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division races. As the primary sponsor, KONICA MINOLTA is excited about the additional exposure now available for the #57 car and driver.

During the race season, KONICA MINOLTA promotions will feature personal appearances of Münter at key channel events, and the #57 car and driver will be integrated throughout print and online advertising campaigns. KONICA MINOLTA will also offer driving opportunities at Fast Track® driving schools, giving partners and customers a feel for high-performance on the track.

Münter’s race calendar will begin May 20 with a challenge at the Hickory Motor Speedway in Münter’s home state of North Carolina. The schedule continues through a 6-month season, concluding with a NASCAR event at the Phoenix International Raceway on November 9.
