Copies can be easily reduced or enlarged by using the 50–200% zoom feature, and one-touch functions are available to customize copy quality even further. Documents and photos can be scanned in 24-bit color directly to a PC with ScanSoft PaperPort® SE from Nuance and then annotated or edited; saved in PDF, JPEG, or TIFF format; or converted to editable text using the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) feature. Both the flatbed glass and the standard automatic document feeder support documents up to legal size (8.5" x 14"). The magicolor 2480 MF includes FaxTalk Communicator™ software, which provides convenient digital PC Fax send and receive functionality. KONICA MINOLTA Simitri® Polymerized Toner, composed of uniformly sized toner particles, produces beautiful colors, small clear text, and smooth halftones regardless of the media type used. The magicolor 2480 MF features enhanced Automatic Image Density Control (eAIDC), which automatically calibrates the print engine for optimal color quality.
